High shining, bright yellow gold base nesting an oval-shaped Ivory colored right-faced cameo brooch that doubles as a pendant. This pretty white shell cameo has a high relief carving depicting the profile of a lady. Oval gold-colored frame is without a gold stamping, no Hallmark identification. Details around the frame are a line of miniature silver beads connected one after the other. This cameo was given to me from a lady in her 80's, who once-owned this rare, but classic silhouette piece. The Cameo lady appears to have very wavy hair and locks of curls are seen around her neckline. I've searched all over and I cannot find one with this exact design, details and characteristics.
