Beautiful lightly worn J crew regent coat. Simply doesn’t fit me anymore or I’d keep it forever. I had the sleeves professionally shortened by an inch. I’m 5’4 for reference. Lovely gray color goes with everything, no defects.

chloep54 Hi! Is this a lighter coat (ie, could it be worn indoors with suiting dresses) or is this a heavier wool coat for wearing outside?

vandough98 @cmbattaglia54 I live in Las Vegas, so it’s definitely a light coat. It’s a light wool but does not have that heavy lining. More of a professional coat. It’s beautiful, but not for snow or rain.

vandough98 And yes, you could definitely wear it in place of a blazer, in fact this coat is modeled after J Crew regency blazer.

vandough98 @sabina97 no I’m sorry, the measurement should let you know if it will work. I’m 5’4 if that helps. I’ll post a picture tonight with the actual measuring tape so you can know exactly where to measure from.

sabina97 @vandough98 I understand, I am 5’3, so in theory it should be fine. In practice, I measured the sleeves of a black Regent coat I have and the sleeves seem to be 23 inches and they fit well. So that is why I’m a bit worried. I’ll check the picture you’ll post so that I do the measurement the exact way and see how they compare.
