Wildhorse jasper is a type of picture jasper found in the Owyhee Mountains near the Idaho/Oregon border. It's named after Wildhorse Canyon in Oregon, where it's mined.  Wildhorse jasper is a beige or brown stone with scenic patterns in shades of brown and tan. It's believed to have metaphysical healing properties, including fostering creativity and imagination. It's also said to protect against evil spirits and to bring courage and relief from pain.
