Like new! The tags were removed, but it was never actually worn! It is a Red Plaid / Tartan Tiered Ruffle Skirt! From Bodyline Japan, purchased around ~2015! It is inspired / made to look like the outfits that the J-Pop girl group AKB48 commonly wears, and just has the J-Pop idol look in general! The fabric is plaid / tartan, and is red, black, and white in color. The fabric is neither thick nor thin, it’s actually pretty good quality, it has a bit of texture and is not stretchy. The waist of the skirt has 4 gold plastic “buttons” on the front, they’re just for looks and have no functional use. The waist of the skirt has plastic boning, and stretchy shirring on the backside, with ribbon corset lacing over top of it! There is a hidden zipper on the side that goes about ⅓ down the skirt. The skirt is tiered / layered, and is super ruffled / ruffle-y, it flares out as it reaches the bottom. It has a nice amount of volume, it’s not meant to have a petticoat worn underneath it, and there is not much space for one! It also comes with a matching mini neck tie! The neck tie is not stretchy either, but it is adjustable! It’s kind of like a bra strap, same adjuster, and a similar hook-and-loop style closure. Size Japanese Medium / US Small.
