VINTAGE SWIVODEX ART DECO INKWELL 1930 BLACK SMOKE GLASS ZEPHYR AMERICAN CORP.

This 2 piece vintage (almost antique!) inkwell looks like something right out of the space age with its round ball ink holder & spaceship deck-like base! From the 1930’s, it’s before its time in design, manufactured by Swivodex, & it’s called the Zephyr. It’s in a true black smoke glass & has no chips or cracks. The base measures 4-1/4”square inches, the ball bottle measures approximately 3”x4”. This Art Deco beaut is very unusual, & makes an extremely interesting piece for your industrial decor! Use as a fun bud vase or for propagating plants, & the base could be used for serving candies or nuts, & even used for a really cool cigar ashtray too!
