VINTAGE BAKELITE GREGORY FOUNT O INK DOUBLE INKWELL PEN HOLDER 1939 MADE IN USA

What an amazing piece of Art Deco Industrial office ephemera to add to your decor! Measuring 9”x3-1/4”x3”, it’s the Fount O Ink , manufactured in Los Angeles, CA, from 1937 to 1939. In a brown tortoise Bakelite, it at one time did have caps for the two rectangular sections for when not in use, but it was purchased from an antique store without the caps, as they are very scarce & hard to come by! It’s in fantastic shape with no chips or cracks, & has that delightful Bakelite smell when placed up to the nose! : ) Did you know that some Bakelite has a touch of uranium in it, so when placed under UV exposure , it glows a green hue?
