Raised beadwork Iroquois triobe heart-shaped pincushion c. 1850-1900. Typically stuffed with pine sawdust or sweetgrass. Iroquois Confederacy tribes created many beadwork whimsey forms to appeal to Victorian women, who loved to buy these souvenirs. Triobe pincushions were a favorite of the Seneca tribe. Dimensions: 7” H x 7” W x 1 1/2” D. Highly collectible; price reflects age and condition. Sold as is.

mom914117 I live next to the Iroquois museum. I’m thinking of purchasing to donate. How are you certain this is Iroquois? What’s the lowest you’d take? Thanks!

lalumiam @mom914117 I love this sort of beadwork and did some research which leads me to believe they are both Iroquois. Here’s the main site that makes me think so: https://www.otsiningo.com/Magic.html I’ve enjoyed both pieces for many years and would be thrilled if they were donated to an Iroquois museum. If you intend to do so I will bundle them for $20 to make a few dollars after Poshmark takes their cut. So glad you reached out!
