This belt buckle is truly remarkable & would make a great addition to any Native American Collection of Fine Jewelry Art! I did a little research for hallmark identification to find more information on this piece — but to no avail. I am not exactly sure who the artist is to give credit to for this beautiful piece of artwork. I did include sample hallmarks as a reference guide. Unfortunately, what I did learn is that the use of letter stamps for hallmarks can sometimes make it difficult to identify the artist. Artisans may use a different hallmark early on & change it throughout their career. If there are any Native American art enthusiasts, or hallmark detectives out there who can help identify this unknown maker’s hallmark, please let me know. They deserve credit for this fine piece.
