💥 19th Century Marine Motif Fish Service Silver and Parcel Gilt RARE 💥 Art Nouveau silver and parcel gilt 2pc fish serving implement set with ornate openwork stylized marine motif, carp, foliage and scroll. Elegant details are added with intricate engraving on the blade and tines, as well repousse trim and foliate ends with finial caps. The pair consists of a flared four prong serving fork and a scimitar shaped knife or slice in a stylized marine motif. No monogram or maker’s mark. The use of a fish slice dates back to the mid 1700s and was popular through the Victorian era.
