This adorable small Brahmin crossbody bag is one of the earliest issued by the company, when it was just a small Massachusetts leather works and everything was made in the USA. They still make quality handbags, but the quality of the original bags, made in Massachusetts, was absolutely phenomenal, and this 40-year-old crossbody is evidence of that. I take great care of my handbags, but even so, this one looks like it came from the leatherworks a year ago, not 40 years ago! In a gorgeous shade of chestnut brown, this little crossbody has one large zipper pocket and one open pocket (large enough for a phone) on the side. No addiitonal compartments, just a very simple and functional minimalist bag. The only embellishment is the heavy brass BRAHMIN (Fairhaven, Mass) logo fob.
