Charles Calfun nutria fur vintage era Eighties probably. Gathered sleeves at shoulder and cuffed sleeves at wrist. Hook and eye closure on front. Lining is in good shape and fur shows no signs of thin spots or wear of any sort. Good condition and smells good. This is a heavy coat.

@lala01love It is Nutria. A Nutria has very thick water resistant fur. It is a semi aquatic rodent, usually in South America. In the Sixties through the Eighties there were a lot of Nutria pelts used for fur coats, collars and muffs. This fur is not nearly as flexible as mink and other fine furs but it is shiny, water repellent and very warm.
