Description from honeydove: Size 1 has a unstretched waist band of 26" but the waist and stretches a lot. The waist band comofrtably stretches up to waist size 36". The sizing is based off of our small/medium gym short and is the same design just with added length in the leg. Imagine these pants fit anywhere from XS/S - M/L. The rise is 13.5". The hip is very very roomy and cozy and is 21" flat. Inseam is 27" and on someone 5'5" it is hitting at the ankle bone, which is feeling really perfect! The length on the will span a great range of heights and please note the nature of the finish of the pant is one in which you can self hem it with sharp scissors or a fabric rotary cutter.
