pattijo325 Hi Can you tell me about the artist. So talented. Captures childhood memories beautifully. My son is now grown but this portrait reminds me so much of him when he was young ❤️

kgare @pattijo325 The artist is Gunnar Anderson, my father, who passed away a couple years ago at 95. He showed in galleries throughout the United States and did many commissions mostly of children. So thrilled you found something you like. I have many more paintings, larger in size of children. If you’re looking for something specific, let me know and I can send you some photos. Because of the holiday weekend I won’t be shipping until Tuesday. Hoping that will be OK with you.

pattijo325 @kgare oh my goodness. I’m so sorry for your loss. Your father‘s art continues to impact people and that’s a wonderful blessing. My parents are in their late 80s such a gift to have them in my life in my son’s life. Yes, I would love to see other work. I’ll send you my email. pattijo325 As far as subject matter. I just have a sign, but I’m from the south so anything that looks like sunshine beaches, backyards etc. those are always joyful memories
