Vintage 1960's-1970 Chenille Tapestry Carpet Coat Size Small Medium . A full cut with some swing near the bottom. The coat is open in the front with no closure "hardware" and no belt or belt loops. Fabric is a soft and warm rug/tapestry material in rich deep colors of red, orange, rust, gold, tan and black. Includes two lined waist pockets that have a 5 1/2" opening. Wide sleeves that may be more 3/4 length on tall women. Coat is fully lined. There are no designer or size labels. There is one small paper tag along the inside front (see last 2 pics) and I believe it reads Jul 70 which may mean the coat was made in July 1970. On the reverse side is the number 16. The coat is in immaculate, clean condition with no tears or holes in the lining or the exterior chenille. Vibrant colors with no fading. Approximate measurements: length from top of shoulder to hem: 34" pit to pit: 21" sleeve length from shoulder edge to hem: 21" sleeve opening: 8 1/2"
