No tags on this cool vintage French beret. Black with pale lavender trim. This was made for an elegant French lady… is not a kid’s hat in spite of the flirty feminine vibe. It is fuzzy and heavy. I believe it is wool. Very well made. Definitely makes a Audrey Hepburn kind of statement. Classic, unique, fun and stylish. It is a real hat. Our family is French and this hat was only used in various French costumes over many years. Origin unknown! Maybe belonged to a long lost auntie? Measures 11 inches across the top. I wear a medium to large ladies hat. This fits me fine.
