I DOUBLE CHECKED THAT. JUST THE WAY THE SUADE IS BRUSHED. IF YOU RUN YOUR HAND DOWN ITS DARK , UP ITS LIGHT. THE BOOTS BOTH MATCH. THER'E ALMOST LIKE A PATCHWORK .THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN WORN. STILL HAVE THE CARDBOARD INSIDE. THE LACE UP SECTION IN THE BACK IS A LIGHTER LEATHER THEN THE REST OF THE BOOT. VERY CUTE . WAS A GIFT BUT A LITTLE TOO BIG FOR ME. YOU'LL LOVE THEM!
