I’m selling my authentic and vintage Louis Vuitton Saint Cloud GM crossbody bag. Date codes started in 1982 and I don’t see a date code, so I think this is from 1980or 1981. The heat stamp is located above the zipper and this was from the era when they spelled France with a lowercase f (made in france). See pic. There is also a second heat stamp located underneath the shoulder pad. See pic of it in one of the collages. Side leather chaps are strong and intact. Most of these you’ll find have deteriorated and rotted out leather by now. Not this one. This one was taken care of. Original leather handle still feels thick and not frail and thinned out. The strap and all leather parts have a honey patina and small hairline cracks throughout which is common. The strap is strong and adjustable. There is also room to add additional holes if you need the strap longer. Strap drop and other measurements are shown. This is the largest size of the Saint Cloud bag. This is the GM size. Clean inside. It has all leather lining and there are some small scuffs along the interior top. The lining of the back pocket and the lining of the interior zippered pocket have a cloth lining. They have noticeable wear but are not dirty to the touch. This bag is still stiff and feels made of the quality 40+ years ago. They don’t make em like this anymore! Offers considered.
