I bought these new from LL Bean about 2 years ago and wore them once on a trip to Montana in the snow. They are warm. I was able to wear thick socks with them. I am normally a 8.5 wide so these were a little tight. They need to be broken in and that won't happen where I live in Texas so I am giving them up. They are not heavy and they kept me feet dry as well. They are a beautiful rich dark brown leather and typical Bean boot rubber sole. Flannel interior and comfortable foot bed. My loss is your gain.
