VINTAGE EINAR JOHANSEN WOOD CARVED MIRROR 1976 BUTTERFLY DAFFODIL BLUEBELLS

This delightful wood carved framed mirror is from 1976 by Einar Johansen, a well known mid century Scandinavian ceramicist well known for his pottery. A highly sought after potter, he ventured into other forms of design, Iike this mirror, & his mirrors are more scarce to find & rarer than his pottery! Measuring 15”x11”, it features lovely carved daffodil flowers on the left, bluebells on the base, & a butterfly on the top right. Consistent with age & use, it has some minimal wear to the wood, & the mirror has a small scratch, please view last pic. It has a mounting hook on the back & is ready to hang upon arrival, but it can also be leaned as well! Signed EJ on the front right corner & signed with his stamp & date of 1976 on the side, it’s a perfect piece to add to your mid century modern, bohemian, granny cottage core, or country home! * I apologize for reflections of my lights in the mirror, it was inevitable.
