Gnome Tomte Nordic Folklore Mythical Sheepskin Rabbit Fur Wool

This Tomte is named Leon, which means “lion”. He was born on January 1, 2023 in a small house on the Providence River. Tomtes (or Gnomes) are a traditional character for Nordic countries. Naturally mischievous, the tradition is to leave treats out for them to prevent them from getting in too much trouble. These Tomtes are hand crafted with mostly natural materials. Wood body, face and nose with hand painted eyes with a mischievous twinkle. Sheepskin body, rabbit fur feet and stocking hat pom pom. Hat is made of various materials, marble base with felt pad to protect surfaces. Created in a non smoking house and work shop. This is not a child’s toy.
