Gnome Tomte Nordic Folklore Mystical Sheepskin Rabbit Fur Wool Figurine

This Tomte is named Hewitt, which means “intelligent one”. He was born on June 10, 2023 in a small house on the Providence River. Tomtes (or Gnomes) are a traditional character for Nordic countries. Naturally mischievous, the tradition is to leave treats out for them to prevent little Tomtes from getting into too much trouble. These Tomtes are hand crafted with mostly natural materials. Wood body, face and nose with hand painted eyes with a mischievous twinkle. Sheepskin body, rabbit fur feet and stocking hat pompom. Hat is made of various materials, marble base with felt pad to protect surfaces. Created in a non smoking house and workshop. This is not a child’s toy.
