Holiday Coasters

This handmade 6-piece set of festive holiday coasters were made with vintage metallic Knit-Cro-Sheen crochet thread. They are gold with gold metallic and are further accented with gold sequins and beads. Each coaster measures 5 inches across with a set area of 3 1/4 inches, which should fit most glassware and mugs. They can be used for many things other than drinks and the gold is neutral enough to look nice with many colors. Several images are shown here as ideas. As an example, image #4 shows a single-serve shrimp on ice place setting for the dinner table. The coasters are washable. I suggest hand washing and air drying flat on a towel. The backs are repurposed plastic to help protect surfaces from condensation, so the dryer isn't advisable.
