Avocado Green Glass Candy Dish Stamped on bottom is E.O. BRODY CO. Cleveland, Ohio U.S.A. 138 has four scooped rainbow shaped pattern, two upside down to create a continuous wave effect on top panel of dish. Under design to the base is slightly frosted. The interior is clear and no bumps from the design element. Piece is clean without any chips. Most likely from the late 60s or early 70s. Found this info on company: E. O. Brody Company, of Cleveland, Ohio was established in 1958. This company is not an actual glass manufacturer, but a distributor/wholesaler that markets utilitarian and decorative glassware (and ceramic items) made especially for the florist industry. Nearly all of the glass is marked “E. O. BRODY CO. CLEVELAND, O. U.S.A.” on the base. The glass has been made in the United States, evidently, for the most part by Indiana Glass Company, and later (after c. 2007) by Anchor Hocking Company.
