Fenton Glass 95th Anniversary Iridescent Footed Lace Edge Shell Dish. It is difficult to capture with pictures the beautiful iridescent hues of this item. Although clear glass, it exhibits the multi-colors often observed on soap bubbles. The Fenton Logo (shown in the last picture) features the number 0, representing the year 2000, corresponding to the 95th Anniversary of Fenton Glass. This Fenton item number 9030 WI was retired December 31, 2000. It's commonly used on a dresser for rings and jewelry items. Also, it was used for a soap dish, candy dish or nut dish. The size is about 5-¼ x 4-¼ x 1-½ deep This piece dates back to 1955 according to the Dealer Catalog and was available in clear and pink and was a limited availability gift with purchase. The color can be more or less intense depending on the light. Sadly Fenton closed down their traditional glassmaking factory in 2011 after 100 years of production and only produced glass beads and some earrings but that was sold off to another company in 2015
