This is a beautiful Kugel style ornament. Very large & very heavy. Not ment to hang on a tree. Kugels were often hung from ceilings, windows, banisters…I have always displayed in a large wooden bowl with other kugels and fresh evergreens. It is in wonderful condition despite a few surfaces scratches from loose branches rubbing against. It is a solid crackled glass.
