(Non-Talking Version) Barbie doll house, from 2002. The plastic is all still brightly coloured without fading and stickers are not peeling . Please note that it does not have the folding table, but other than that is in fantastic condition!Apparently there were two versions of this dollhouse made, one that talked and one that didn’t, this is the non talking version. Lots of inspiration on Pintrest and Youtube for furnishing and setting up a diorama with this dollhouse. Will be packed with care using recycled packaging materials ♻️🌎

rellis071908 This is the house that doesn't talk. I have the same one and couldn't figure it out to change the batteries. Come to find out Mattel released the carbon copy of the talking house with all the same slots and everything, but it's not battery operated. After I spent an hour prying off the plastic plate under the TV to find a battery compartment with no metal prongs for the batteries 🤣.

pgrabeldinger @rellis071908 Thank you for the info! I even went on the Mattel website and found the instructions but then couldn’t find where it was supposed to open 🤷‍♀️. I’ll update the listing

rellis071908 @pgrabeldinger trying to save you the painful job of ripping it apart to find it doesn't take batteries. Mattel really cut some corners with this one. Regardless, it's a very nice house!

pgrabeldinger @rellis071908 I’ve had this house for a long time and I’ve debated painting it as Pintrest has pictures of them redone and they look so good refurbished, but I couldn’t bring myself to paint over this one as it’s in fantastic shape- still so brightly coloured and not faded as soo many of them tend to get.
