Do you live with birds? Tell me about them in the comments! I have a 21 year old eclectus (that's him in the picture with the rose). He's not just being silly with his head upside-down--he has a spinal deformity and that's his "normal". He gets around great and lives a very pampered life...he just has a unique view of the world. 🙃 I'm a bird-lover and have some fun bird-themed items in my closet. karenish I live with a Severe Macaw who talks constantly and is hilarious. I also had a male Eclectus I fostered for years, who was recently adopted. I work with a local Parrot Rescue who does excellent work here in Las Vegas. I just Love your Eclectus!

arizonakelly @karenish Aww, thank you! And thank you for fostering an eclectus! I have so much respect for people who foster. Your severe macaw sounds like a riot! A few years ago, I was getting into embroidery, and of course, was embroidering parrots on everything (lol). I thought you might like to see this severe macaw embroidery I did (I added a pic to this listing). Thanks for introducing yourself!

arizonakelly @karenish No, my eclectus doesn't hate certain colors...did the one you fostered? I know a Brandon who volunteers at SWEAR--he's got a slew of eclectus. He says they're a great organization!

karenish @arizonakelly Hmmm I don’t know a Brandon, but God bless him! Yes my 2 Ekkies I fostered absolutely hated anything pink or purple. And - both of them had a favorite toy. You know those plastic scoops that come in collagen or powdered shake mixes? I spent so much $$$ on toys for them, but they only ever played with those scoops! Also small plastic measuring cups. 😂

renaeskidmore Hi , we had 5 birds at onetime. Sadly we are down to 2 cockatiels, they are over 30 years old as far as we can remember. We had an Amazon Green. Sadly was kind of off of his food for a couple days, then he just passed away . We had 2 parakeets, the female passed away, But Pettie the mail lived to be a out 13 without her.. our cockatiels, are one male Harley & Hailey. I keep thinking about how long they have lived.. who knows how long they will be with us, but🙏❤️🙏 love your 🦜.

randeescloset I live on a farm in Ventura, and we’re constantly taking photos of birds.🦅 In my closet, type in Superb Owl Day, I posted a few photos of recent fun finds. Speaking of ravens 🐦‍⬛ we have so many and they’re hilarious for sure. Right now the blue birds are nesting, and we were so happy to see hawks mating yesterday but of course the camera wouldn’t focus 😂
