This lovely blue and white Delft Salt Box is designed to hang on a wall. The ceramic box is covered with a maple hinged lid. There is a makers mark on the underside that read Teleflora. Salt Boxes are believed to originate in England in the 1300s. This one is probably from the early to mid 1900s. The piece is in good antique condition. The paint is vibrant and solid. Very nice addition to your blue and white collection.
