Hi Aaron. I am 12.5D on a Brannock with foot that is narrow in the heel/ankle and wide in the toes (kinda like B/D) and those boots are perfect for that shape - they are one of the very few pairs that do NOT pinch my pinky, and no heel slip. My instep is average and they were just right for me. Volume-wise they are about the same in instep as Red Wing or Grant Stone in the same size - but they are noticeably wider in the toe box. I would say that in TTS those boots might be C/E in width.

I’m just under 12.5 … (11.5 in Alden). Think these would size well for me?

@minndavid They might, given your Brannock is a bit shorter than mine. I do not have any Alden, but those are maybe 0.25 size shorter than heritage Red Wings and Grant Stone Leo last in the same size. Frankly, I am very tempted to just keep them and wear them with lightweight Darn Tough socks (normally I prefer midweight).

@woodenbits thanks! I wouldn’t blame you, they look awesome. I’ll make an offer either way… no pressure.
