Mens Official Army Wool Field Trousers in Army Green Size 34 Waist. USGI M51 Wool Field Trousers from an Army surplus store out of New Zealand. I bought these for my son for Christmas, but they were too big for him, and they don't return. They are used, but look brand new, but from what I can gather, they are official army gear, and they blacked out the sizing info., but I measured them. On the website they say "79-80cm", which translates for 34" waist and a 29" inseam.
Description from website: The M-1951 field trousers as the name implies came about due to the vicious Winter fighting encountered in the 1950's during the Korean War. Designed to run large width ways so the soldier can wear arctic liners underneath (some have buttons inside the waist for attaching the M51 liner). Made from 18-oz wool with a nylon serge this material is tough & works great as a natural body heat regulator in both cold and warm weather. Equipped with all the usual bells & whistles - generous rear & slash pockets, adjustable waist tabs and fly zipper. Ideal for adding layers underneath during Winter, they sure don't make them like these anymore. Grab a pair of Korean War history today!
