Pair of dessert / bread plates from Boleslawiec Polish Pottery - hand made in Poland. Typically, salad plates are 8" or larger, which is why these are listed as dessert or bread plates, as they are 7 1/8" in diameter; however, they could be used for any purpose you choose. The pattern is of swirls, branches, and cute red cardinals on a pale cream ground. Pattern name search yields no results. They do make a 'Cardinal Serenade' pattern - this would pair well with that. Each is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing noted. These book at $25 + each on various retail online venues.
