This gem was made & purchased in Hawaii. It was gifted to me in the early 1990’s by a friend who had visited Hawaii. I’ve only worn it a few times. It’s an unusual necklace made from hematite. 18 inches long with a secure, screw closure.

As a jewelry designer, I hope you dont mind, but I I just wanted to give you some info on the gunmetal colored beads in this necklace. All of the black beads are actually hematite bc I have a lot of both shapes. I designed a pr of earrings w/the donut beads & azurite.😊
