There are literally THOUSANDS of FAKE listings on PoshMark - Don't be a Victim! PM's listing system allows anyone to list a FAKE item. It has no failsafe to detect a fake other than sending the item to headquarters AFTER if it sells for $500+. Other selling sites have found ways to deter & curb these listings. Anyone can list anything and say it's "Authentic". It's up to YOU to know what to look for. Sadly, people throw away $$ on what they think is a "steal deal" everyday. 🤣🤣NO ONE IS GOING TO LIST A $4000 Designer Bag for $400!!🤣🤣 *THINK* before you BUY! If you think it's too good to be true - IT IS! I don't want anyone to get scammed & lose money. I've spent countless hours reporting items and sellers to PM to no avail - the listings still keep coming & the posted fake listings rarely get taken down. Chanel, Louis V, Dior, Gucci, David Yurman, Tiffany, Van Cleef, YSL, Hermes - the Fake list is large!! Photos shown are some of the latest FAKE listings & how they look - * The item will be selling for under $500 * The photos will be similar from all sellers as they use stock photos. * They will usually always list them as Authentic (& say Yes if you ask) * They now list a few other items with the Fakes to look like a real closet * The names, locations & profile photos are fake. be_luxe@kellsterbeach Yes! Posh was bought by a Korean internet company & started to decline soon after. The site now has huge lack of any quality control & bad reputation for fakes. Also, the highest commission out of any resale site!

be_luxe@malkatz Don't let that deter you - list them. People around the real items can usually spot fakes easily. The copies aren't that good, really. There is always something "off". I try to educate so no one will get ripped off as PM seems to do nothing to stop it. Cheers!🥰

msmurataSame! I report countless of counterfeit items here on Posh and other large reselling websites! If the price too good to be true, then use your own judgement and don’t fall for it. ALSO BE AWARE OF THOSE “BUYERS” CLAIMING THEY CAN’T SEE YOUR PHOTOS AND TELL YOU TO CONTACT THEM WITH THEIR NUMBERS. Don’t do it and report them!

holymoonlightI've been seeing this a ton with those Lululemon belt bags! totally made of nylon and shiny fabric. their tags have a strange diamond on them too. when I've pointed this out on listing, the fraudsters take new photos and flag my comment for deleting. I mark them as fraudulent and nothing ever happens to these accounts!

phoebescloset11Poshmark used to be very strict about this….even though ppl did it anyway. Now they allow you to sell items that aren’t authentic as long as you are honest about it. I think they did this to help control the situation. I’ve seen so many fake accounts where ppl claim authenticity when they aren’t. Too many ppl doing this it’s impossible to do anything. They will just open up another account. Infuriating!

ashleysea206These accounts are ruining this app. What's even crazier are the ambassadors who are doing it. I've been reporting a pm ambassador II with over 7k listings for MONTHS. Fake Gucci, Prada, Dior, LV, Tiffany, David Yurman, Chanel, Chanel VIP and beauty gifts. I mean, some of them are so obviously fake it's crazy. And they keep telling buyers that everything is authentic. SMH.

I remember 2016 was the Wild West here, I hope we don't go back to that cuz I just stopped buying and listing here altogether, returned only because I found a pair of shoes here and saw things were better.
