Vintage Spode Christmas Tree Pomander Potpourri Ball Ornament England

This Spode Christmas Tree pomander has a red satin ribbon for hanging and eight sets of four holes (32 total) on top for fragrance. A small white plastic stopper is in the bottom for filling with your choice of fragrance. The Christmas Tree pattern is featured on two sides and a sprig of mistletoe is on the other two sides. This festive Spode Christmas Tree pattern was created in 1938 by Harold Holdway, a young Spode designer. He designed the perfect Christmas tree complete with wrapped gifts and the well-known St. Nicholas topper. A Great gift for collectors of this Spode pattern or Pomanders. Great condition!
