This is a fantastic double breasted black wool dress with removable cuffs and collar designed by Margaretha Ley for Escada. We love vintage Escada and are so happy that people are starting to rediscover these beautifully made pieces!This dress has a v-neck with a 3 tier pointed collar and the front opening is secured by two rows of matte gold tone hammered buttons. There is a faux flap pocket on the right side of the hip and the cuffs of the sleeves have the same gold tone buttons with a white cuff, that is also removable, peeking through. The shoulders are nicely structured with shoulder pads and the dress is fully lined in rayon. Made in Germany of 100% New Wool with 100% Cotton collar and cuffs. Labeled size 40.
