This messenger bag is very durable and very user-friendly. It was bought in the men's department, but I bought it for myself. I used it when on crutches, to carry my laptop, notebooks and water bottle. My son used it during a week-long firefighting training, to carry packets and study materials back and forth from the dorms to the training site. It is SO low maintenance. It wipes clean with a simple wet cloth. The adjustable cross strap is thick and heavy-duty and washes up so easily: just soak in soapy water and then hang to dry and it retains its flat shape! Lots of inside pockets and a keychain (great for a locker key, my son said). We're only selling it because it's time to downsize and I don't see myself using it now that I am off crutches and he's done with is training. Perfect for any student, professional or just someone who likes to have a simple and sleek bag without all the fussy stuff. It measures 18 inches across, 16 inches tall and 5 inches wide. It holds quite a bit, including a 17 inch laptop and a few notebooks/binders.
