This vial is depression glass style and comes filled with a thick clear liquid which allows the glass to move freely about the vial when turned upside down. Its very soothing and hypnotic to watch. Made with crushed uranium glass, the glass inside the bottle has a vibrant green color and is UV reactive. The liquid slows the glowing glass allowing it to “fall” slowly, making it an eye-catching lava lamp-like display. The bottle itself is not uv reactive. (See pics) It does refract light beautifully. We took several variations of pictures under led light, uv light, room/uv light in order to give you a better view. No light is included with the vial. Black light is required to see its mesmerizing glow but vial is also just as beautiful being back light with a regular led light! This item is both Handmade and vintage, both new and old.
