twydlet I’ve been thinking about this jacket Do you think this jacket is good quality ? It being 2xl do you think it would fit me, I’m about the same size as you 6’2. But I’m about 240 so does it fit you ? Looks nice although not always crazy about suede they can ruin too easy anyway when you have time take a look at it please and let me know. Thanks

For a number of years, Timberland endeavored to enter the high-end luxury outdoor market and each year released an extremely limited selection of rugged luxury outerwear in Suede and Shearling, particularly for the Italian market where Timberland is especially beloved. ligaa @twydlet I water- and stain-proofed this right when I got it, but stains and wear are inevitable. This jacket already shows patina at the collar and cuffs and will never be pristine, nor should it be. Think well worn and weathered Tuscan vineyard owner's daily town and country coat. Size should be perfect for you, as I was 240, 6'0" when I got it and it fit well, a bit long in the sleeve, with room for a tweed coat underneath.

ligaa @twydlet If it fits your lifestyle, this is a fantastic legacy purchase. If staining and leathercare are a concern, it can be too much of a worry. My style definitely favors "well-worn and patina-ed" with goods that are meant to last a lifetime. But no lie, suede is a pain.
