This vintage porcelain mime/clown doll came from an estate. The face, hands and feet are made of porcelian (Porcelain (/ˈpɔːrs(ə)lɪn/) is a ceramic material made by heating raw materials, generally including kaolinite, in a kiln to temperatures between 1,200 and 1,400 °C.). Without cutting into the body, arms and legs, it looks like the doll is stuffed with a sawdust-type material. The doll measures approximately 22” from the head to the feet. The face is hand painted and is in excellent condition. The heart on the side of the cheek adds a little extre to the face. All of the porcelain parts are completely intact. There are no chips or cracks. There are no rips or stains on the dolls clothes. However, some of the paint is worn and can be easily repaired. It is vintage and has been gently loved.
