This is a BMW OEM M Sport E81 E82 E87 E88 E84 X1 E90 E91 E92 E93 1/3 Series Steering Wheel with back paddle shifters. It came off of a BMW 2008 I35I. My husband is the original owner. It’s new and was swapped out when the car was purchased.

nikij1990 Hello, after a little research it appears that the sticker with the part number is not on the steering wheel anymore.

rafindallas It would be stamped somewhere on the metals parts of the wheel.

nikij1990 @rafindallas from what I was able to find I believe it is 3051626 8 120. I added additional photos showing the engraved numbers.

rafindallas That is still not a valid BMW part number for this steering wheel. The only other thing I can think of is to cross reference the VIN number for your husband’s vehicle with the VIN number of my BMW to verify if this specific part is compatible and/or interchangeable. If you are unable to provide his VIN number I understand. Thank you.

nikij1990 @rafindallas may I ask what kind of car you are needing this for? It should be pretty easy to call BMW and ask if this steering wheel would be compatible with your car. Sorry, but after fees I would be basically giving this away for that price.

rafindallas @nikij1990 I have a 2013 335i. The compatibility issues that can arise are the airbag, paddle shifters, multifunction buttons and the steering wheel cover being different in which case I will have to spend a significant amount to buy new ones that fit this steering wheel. I could possibly go a little higher on my offer.

nikij1990 @rafindallas you are welcome to submit an offer. The risk is that you purchase this, it doesn’t work, the. You resell it. This is a great price for what this is. I just saw refurbished steering wheels going for the same price.

rafindallas @nikij1990 My nearest BMW dealer parts department/service advisor is reluctant to give me a definitive answer as to whether what I am trying to accomplish with this steering wheel swap is possible and may void my warranty.
