This unique piece is from my mom's sewing kit. It is made to store specific sized needles(no longer inside). It is possible my mom brought this to the US when she came over from German in 1952. One side shows dates 1492-1892 and pictures the Manufactures and Liberal Arts Building. I looked it up and see that was at the 1893 Chicago World's Fair also called the Columbia Exposition. Very nice quality piece with beautiful patina and in good working condition. Use the photos as a guide and please ask if you have questions. It's 2 1/8" high and 1" wide.
