birdgreen for the stitches sewn using a sewing machine? and what type of fabric is this because you can't read the label when you blow it up with the phone.

gsdownsize @birdgreen Hi…the alteration is just a simple machine stitch on the neck band only. The material is a poly spandex mix knit. I added 2 more close -up pics. Hopefully this helps. 😁

birdgreen @gsdownsize I appreciate your help with this. I really like this. I am afraid that if the stitches are too tight they will be difficult to remove. do you know if the thread that was used was a stretchy type of thread or a simple cotton thread?

birdgreen @gsdownsize on the area that is sown when you pull that apart with a little pressure can you see the actual stitches easily? that will give me an idea if a stitch Ripper would work without damaging the knit of the sweater
