Vintage Reyn Spooner Hawaiian Shift Dress, Tourist TPA Airline Print, size XS-S

Vintage shift dress, Aloha shirt style. 100% spun rayon, these dresses are so soft and flattering. This print has (white) tourists disembarking from seaplanes, along with depictions of presumably native Hawaiians. Does that make it inherently less appropriative, because it acknowledges the nature of Hawaii's tourism industry? Or more/worse? Does it depend who wears it? Food for thought! This one has a worn spot on the neck in one place, and a place where the stitching is starting to come undone on the hem, which is an easy fix. See photos. (Also note that the stitching is intentionally loose on these because of how thin the fabric is.) Pullover style with a scoop neck, and double (14") slit at the bottom. Designed to fit a bit loose, fabric has no stretch. Tag says machine wash and tumble dry but I would hand wash or wash this on a delicate cycle, and hang to dry, to extend its lifespan. This one has been handwashed by me, and hung dry. ~19" pit to pit ~17" waist ~20" hip ~45" length
