This listing is for a SET of 5 fabric hand-puppets from the brand Melissa & Doug. The set includes a "Palace Pals"-themed set of a prince, a princess, a knight, and a dragon. There's also a separate dog puppet that is also a Melissa & Doug hand puppet, but NWOT. The puppets are made from brightly patterned, "soft-stuffed plush material" that is washable for easy cleanup. In terms of size, the puppets are designed to fit the hands of all children and "most adults". They fit like a loose glove over the hand. They're designed for kids aged 2 to 6. Playing with hand puppets teaches kids motor skills, hand-eye coordination, communication skills, self-confidence, and more. NOTE: While the 4-set is NWT, the cardboard backing is sort of wavy (not perfectly straight) from being in storage. You can see this in the photos. This does not affect the puppets. Also, the princess puppet has a tiny bit of green thread on the side of her nose (see close-up photos). And the knight puppet has a small white spot under its right eye (see close-up photo)-- seemingly because the fabric in that area wasn't dyed the same color as the rest of his face. In addition, the brown "fur" of the dog puppet is not so brown in some places. These variations are from the manufacturing process -- not from usage, as these haven't been used. I've discounted the price accordingly. That said, the Palace Pals puppets are out of stock at most retailers, so this is a great opportunity to get a rare, discontinued toy!
