@ststrong disregard, itâs not allowing me to send a PM. So if you like the âwetâ look.. detangle then saturate your hair with water. While wet, add Fructis Curl Sculpting gel (can be purchased from Walmart) and let your hair air dry. To define the curls, I repeat the same steps but only use Nairobi setting lotion / foam.

@ststrong the Nairobi setting lotion / foam can be purchased from your local beauty supply. Any setting lotion / foam would be okay as long as it doesnât have any alcohol in it. If you wear baby hair, I like to use got2b gel (the black one), then tie it down with the lace melting band until I get to my destination. Both the band and gel can also be purchased at your local beauty supply.

Thank You so much! I want to make sure I'm doing everything to preserve this beautiful unit for longevity! When you say detangle, do you wet it and brush it out? Also can you give instructions on how you wash the unit and what you use? Those are all of my questions, I promise! :)

@ststrong lol youâre fine. I generally use a paddle brush and brush / detangle the hair out while itâs dry before washing. I loveeee to use Pantene Curl Perfection shampoo and conditioner (for curly hair) if they donât have âcurl perfectionâ the âRepair and Moisturizeâ are good too. The names may be off lol but I love Pantene products so really any of their shampoo and conditioner is good. Donât get the all in one shampoo and conditioner though.

@ststrong After I shampoo, I condition the hair, brush through it again and let it sit for about 10 min. Rinse out with cold water and add your curl sculpting gel (if you like the wet look) or setting lotion (if you just want to keep the curls looking defined and pretty) let it air dry. I either sit mine outside or in front of a fan.

@ststrong Once it dries, use your fingers to pull out the curls a little, just donât rake your fingers through it lol. I mean you can but the more you pull out the curls
the bigger the hair gets. So it just depends on the look youâre going for. Sorry for the essay lol
