Antique 1880's Regout Maastricht Canton Porcelain Chinoiserie Plate This is an exquisite Dutch made and hand painted porcelain plate in the "Canton" pattern. It features a Chinese scene of a Tea House and garden. It has fired on lustre glaze in a peachy gold and hand applied colors of cranberry red, aqua blue, and jade green. The color combo is really beautiful and this would be lovely displayed on a wall in a Chinoiserie style decor. This has the Sphinx hallmark on the back which was first used in 1879. Plate is in excellent condition, I could find no damage or wear marks. Measures 8.5" across.
