@thorium102023 you cannot stain the exterior as it’s like a patent leather. No blemishes or chips noted. Please zoom in for pics. This is a preloved bag in excellent used condition. It is not brand new so please manage your expectations accordingly for a preloved item. There are no cuts/rips.

The classic vernis exterior can definitely be stained with color transference (which why you'll see some different colors that get transferred/stained sometimes to the vernis exterior)

@thorium102023 there has been no color transfer on the exterior of this bag. There are no stains; there are no visual blemishes I noted. No distinct marks; no cuts in the leather; no visible marks to contradict the item noted in the description. It’s a great bag in excellent condition. Very clean interior.
