~*DREAM*~ pair of vintage 501 Levi's in that perfect deep medium wash. Too small for me now so I had to use modeling pics from a pair I sold a while back that's similar in wash/same era to show fit! These have a faint bit of warm discoloration to the inside seat from an already lifted stain. Super faint/ not noticeable from the outside. They also have just a touch of warmth near the hems and a thread pull at the waist. Still in amazing condition! Probably best for a modern size 24/maybe 25 wearer. maolem @bailatte these are a good example a pair made for women :) even says it on the inside tag with this pair in particular! but yeah as you can see the waist hip ratio is definitely different. meant to fit tight at the small of the waist :) I think you're right that a pair that was intended for men will have that more relaxed waist fit you're seeking. just gotta be careful that the hips aren't so baggy that they won't stay up, if that makes sense 😅 can be tricky to find!

bailatte @maolem yes! These are gorgeous omg! It’s going to be hard to find that baggy look and fit my waist. I don’t mind tailoring them, I feel like I need a 30 waist 32 inseam but in men’s and then will prob have to take in the waist a bit. I’m tempted to by the Bridget baggy on revolve but $380 price tag 💀 lol

maolem @bailatte I knoww 😅 vintage Levi's are quite the pricey habit to have! haha. but so worth ittt especially when you find your holy grail pair. Not sure if my wallet would agree but we can just stay having a different opinion there loll. and yes taking in the waist on a baggy fit pair might be the best route :) I've definitely done that & on that first pair you commented on this morning, you can see in the pic of Kylie that she definitely had the waist taken in a bit!

maolem @bailatte hey sorry to bug again, but I just remembered and wanted to let you know! I have a faded black pair of 501's that I plan to list probably Monday. they're not faded to the point of looking gray. Just a nice softly faded black & they'd be a perfect 26 :) not loose or anything. if you're not in the market for that no worries at all! just wanted you to have the heads up jic :) all the best <3

maolem @bailatte I just posted them :) please know that the full length shot of the back is from a different pair! very similar in fit so I just used that pic to show the fit of this era in Levi's :) the close up is the exact pair. Just too tight on me now to get good pics! 😭 lol
