The design of the sunglasses is described on Oliver Peoples website as "extreme and glamorous" with a "1970s inspired lens shape" that is "framed by ultra fine metal, highlighting the colorful gradient lenses." Honestly, they're a really good pair of stylish sunglasses! They have a very chic oversized look and do not slide down your face due to the bridge pads. In terms of coverage, they did a nice job of shading the sun from my eyes. I've had them for about a year and used them a bit, but they're in really good condition. In the photos you'll see that they look like new at a normal glance. If you look really close under light you will see minuscule marks/scratches. Again, these aren't really visible unless you're looking hard, and they are not noticeable when wearing them (you won't "see" the scratches looking through).
