The dress is made in two layers. I have photos of each layer separately and together, to show the sheerness of the outer layer. The front neckline is a V shape and the back is a deep rounded V shape. Details: built-in slim waist belt/cord to tie in the back Opaque black silky stretch inner dress slip that came with the dress and is part of the original dress. (I have seen people try to sell this dress missing the slip, but I have the original) I don't know the materials because those tags were cut out long ago. I have always hand washed the dress with Woolite and laid flat to dry. The "Betsey Johnson" tag has been cut out long ago, but rest assured this is the real thing.
